MCTA’s Jenny Camp Horse Trials Celebrates 39 Years

Jenny Camp HT celebrated its 39th anniversary in steamy fashion on Sunday Sept 25 at Tranquility Manor Farm in Jacksonville.

The ground was perfect as riders tested their horses in two dressage rings, and a stadium ring that wasn’t soupy despite two recent heavy rains.

Eight divisions ranging from Introductory through Novice tested their skills over several new cross country jumps, and a redesigned water option as well as some favorites.

Our deepest appreciation and thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this event a resounding success.

Congratulations to the following 2011 division winners:

Novice A - Emma Jones / Ron Juan
Novice B - Laurie Marino / Eddie
Jr Beginner Novice - Samantha Baker / Perfect Response
Beginner Novice Open - Pamela Bartholomew / Miss Behave
Sr Beginner Novice - Andrea McGough / McDuff
Intro Horse - Pamela Bartholomew / 22 Freckles
Intro Rider A - Madison Miller / MotherMayI
Intro Rider B - Laura Reick / Liberty
